Listen up HAFFA Members & VISITORS —

Thinking capWe are now announcing our next HAFFA Meeting Program to be a special night of HISTORIC AIRCRAFT TRIVIA so be sure to put on your THINKING CAP!

Wait Wait

The October 15th HAFFA Monthly Business Meeting’s program will be HAFFA’s version of NPR”S popular Pod Cast and Radio program called WAIT WAIT DON’T TELL ME!

Jeff Nisley’s son, Blake Nisley recently visited the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, WI and took many excellent photos of the Planes and displays. The Museum has over 20,000 historic aviation objects including more than 200 historic aircraft, as well as a replica of the Wright Flier, all the way to a partial replica of the Burt Rutan Voyager, the first aircraft to fly around the world without stopping or refueling.

The format of the program is as follows:

Blake Nisley’s high resolution photos will be presented as a simple slide show. As each slide makes its way onto the screen, attendees will shout out their answer to what they believe is the correct answer to what it is they are seeing.

If all goes right, a spirited discussion about each photo will naturally ensue based on our member’s and visitor’s collective knowledge and in some cases memories.

This should be a truly memorable night and a lot of fun.

At the end of the Slide show, a simple show of hands will determine the one who takes home the Grand prize (1st) and the same method will be used for the second and third place holders. Yes Virginia, there will be PRIZES! — Bring your Friends!

This Meeting is coming up fast — Next Tuesday — October 15th — So Mark this on your Calendar!
